37 Boulevard de Rochechouart, 75009 Paris
Behind the walls of this hostel lies quite a story. Indeed this typically Parisian building has always been a hotel and the Regent Hostel Montmartre has conserved its charm and pleasant welcoming atmosphere of yesteryear. However Philippe, the founder, wanted the hotel to reflect the modern, vibrant neighborhood while at the same time remaining an intimate and friendly place to stay. A successful bet…as that of the evolution of Montmartre, Pigalle, and Barbes.
The Regent is tastefully decorated with a definite Parisian atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and harmonious, each one is more pleasantly arranged than the other. Choose a double room with an adjoining bathroom or from 3, 4, or 6 person dormitories. On the 2nd and 5th floor, you will adore settling in on our balconies, and if you are on the 5th or 6th floor open wide your window, the view is breathtaking, you have never seen Sacré-Coeur this close up. To each his own at the Regent where different but adjoining common rooms cater to you whether you are in the mood to meet other travelers or if, on the contrary, you feel like relaxing down time. Prepare a meal in our modern fully equipped kitchen until 10:30 pm, read your emails on one of computers available for our guests. If you have any questions whatsoever about Paris, don’t hesitate to ask, our team is on hand, ready and willing to answer any of your questions and share their insider’s tips about Paris as well.
Unwind in our pleasant lobby, curl up in a bean bag with a good book or explore your inner artist on the chalkboard in our game room. You will find everything you need as far as service goes, there is gratuitous unlimited Wi-Fi everywhere in the building, free luggage storage the day of your arrival and depart, washing machines for our guests as well as safe deposit boxes for your valuables. A typically French breakfast is served every morning and every night you can opt to take advantage of our happy hours and taste a locally brewed beer.
The Regent is a great location which allows for easy access to a young, dynamic, hip, and eclectic district of Paris. At the foot of the Anvers metro stop (Line 2), the neighborhood is a real melting pot of cultural diversity and latest Parisian trends. You will adore strolling through Montmartre, visiting artist’s galleries and roaming around the trendsetting 9th and 18th arrondissement which includes rue de Martyrs, On the Road Pub, Marché St Pierre or, on a more cultural note, the cinema Louxor open and functioning since 1921 and L’Atelier, a theater which has been hosting performances since 1822, both anthological to Montmartre’s vibrant artistic scene. The Barbès neighborhood is only several minutes by foot, ideal for discovering the parisian’s favorite bar scene, and to taste some spicy food on Boulevard Rochechouart and then from there, head on to one of the many concert halls in Pigalle : Trianon, La Cigale, La Boule Noire or L’Elysée Montmartre and many more!.
At the Regent the best of Paris is right on hand!
