48 Rue Rodier, 75009 Paris
Known for its cool, offbeat atmosphere, the Woodstock Hostel Montmartre has kept its authenticity since 1996; it is the funkiest youth hostel around. We are relaxed here, without pretexts and we decide what we want our world to look like. We show, we tell, we sing, we share our Parisian discovery of the day, we make friends for a moment or for life. It is an incredible melting pot. All generations and nationalities together. We go from one language to another without even noticing. And the funniest thing is that Valerie, the director of Woodstock Hostel knows everyone’s first names! The Woodstock is much more than a hostel, it’s a state of mind: small in size but large in friendly atmosphere.
You will be surprised by the hostel’s wacky murals, its doors re-painted by an Italian artist in the middle of the night (with the permission of the director, of course) and the lively colors of the rooms. In keeping with the authentic spirit of a youth hostel and ever concerned to adapt to your needs, we offer dormitory rooms for 2, 4, 6, or 10 people. Each room includes a sink and has direct access to the common bathroom, the mattresses are comfortable and linens are available.
Take advantage of this laid back atmosphere to prepare your own food in our fully equipped kitchen for our guests. Breakfast is complimentary so that you can start the day off in a good mood with croissants and café, and so on. Wi-Fi is, of course, free. Our bar is open until 2 am, ideal to have a cool beer after a Parisian night out. No curfew: and no! We are not your parents! Our team, in keeping with the spirit of Woodstock, know just how to make you feel at home, just like their cat!
Right in the heart of Paris’ 9th arrondissement nearby the bars bustling with authentic young Parisian night life, rue Pigalle, you are situated at the foot of Sacré-Coeur of touristic lore. Only 5 minutes from the metro station Anvers (line 2), you have direct access to the Arc de Triomphe and the famed Place de l’Opéra, Galeries Lafayette and the Louvre. The So’Pig (south Pigalle) neighborhood is an ideal choice for travelers who are interested in shopping, art and architecture, music as well…as there are many concert halls in close proximity to the hostel.
The Woodstock Hostel is a place that one never wants to leave.
