What’s going this Fall in Paris
Paris is a city to visit in any season. Each moment has its unique flavor and charm. September and October are no exceptions. Here is a list of some of our favorites at hiphophostels to get you right into the swing of things this fall
European Heritage days (Journées de Patrimoine)
What : Monuments, museums, and other historic edifices in Paris will be open to the public, some of them free, hosting special events and guided visits of areas normally closed to the public. Some examples this year are the Comedie Francais, Jardin de Tuileries, musée Curie, maison chloé, Cirque de Bouglione, Fragonard, Philharmonie

Vilette Jazz festival: live in tune.
What: The Cité de la Musique and the Philharmonic Orchestra host this annual jazz festival with concerts designed to please a large range of audiences from young to old. Special events for kids as well.
Where: La Villette, metro porte de la villette or porte de Pantin.

Nuit Blanche in Paris: Since 2002, on the first Saturday night of October,museums and monuments will be open all night and many other artistic events will be held.
What: A parade will take place from place de la Concorde to the Bastille. Artists will be roaming the streets and performing at their guise. The Peripherique will be closed to cars between Porte de la Villette and Porte de Pantin, lit up and open to pedestrians and gaily decorated bicycles. The neighboring Phiharmonic Orchestra will perform and the local gym will he holding sports event! Public transportation will be running all night. For the first time two races are being held open to all (upon reservation) from 10pm to 2am. The races will form a circle around 10 Parisian museums and monuments.

Vendanges Montmartre: Winemakers on Sacre-Coeur
What: For the 86th consecutive year, Sacre Coeur and Montmartre will be teeming with excitement and festive events during the grape harvest of the vines on the neighboring hills.
